I was playing Simpsons Tapped Out and something to happens fairly frequently happened again, my phone just frozen up so I did what I always do and held the power button down only this time it didn’t reboot, instead the screen won’t turn back on and the red notification light it can be either red or green depending on the notification is stuck on.

I think it was on before it froze though.

I’ve tried holding the power button down for an entire minute and nothing happened. The battery is non-removable. So I’m really stuck as to what I need to do.

I actually did figure it out.

My blu life one is completely frozen – BLU Phone – iFixit

You have to hold down both the volume buttons and the power button at the same time for up to 2 minutes and it’ll force a hard reboot.

It most likely won’t take the full 2 but if it doesn’t do it by 2 minutes let me know. This worked miracle’s.

There is a big black sticker above the joint, I should have done a teardown, but it does come out fairly easy. The steps you guys posted did not help me, as I was having the same [black screen, red LED] issue.

Simply disconnect the battery to power off the device and it should be good as new! It does come out, but you need to get that black tape and other parts off first.

This IS iFixit, after all. When you say black tape, are you talking about the thick black tape wrapped around the batter Also did you have to remove screws or anything I want to take this battery out but I don’t want to cause more harm while doing it.

Any additional info would be great.
